These markers work great to hide nicks and scratches in dark furniture. I was a little disappointed that this product is kind of thin, more like paint than wood filler. But I remembered I had a can of Durham's water putty. So I mixed up some putty to a thick consistency and built up the veneer. After a little sanding I used 3 different colors of the Seisso furniture repair to create a finish.

The included procedure was unnecessarily complicated and didn't work. There's a webpage that explains how to mix colors to match the wood. Don't bother. Just find the closest color but working through the shades. Maybe you can try mixing adjacent ones to get a blend but the supplies colors are good enough.
